I'd Rather Be Sleeping

I'd Rather Be Sleeping is a collection of experimental digital works based on the abstract arrangement of shapes, logos and pop-culture imagery. Crowded and colorful, these works are thematically obscure, juxtaposing familiar faces and shapes with all manner of products and pattern designs.

Originally intended as a single 12-panel collage, I decided to expand the scope of the collection to include the supplemental and secondary vector-based projects that I was working on during the period. These smaller works share the style and scope of the primary collage, and in many cases contain the exact same digital elements.

The greatest threat to national, ethnic and religious identities is not the external force of outsider threats, but the internal forces of apathy, inertia and ignorance of one's own cultural heritage.
